Building upon the principles of the diet plan set out by Dr Hyman, the Pegan diet. The diet is a mix between a Paleo diet and Veganism, Hyman encourages us all to eat to truly thrive. The diet is focused around nutrient rich food to aid the body in balancing blood sugar and and reduce inflammation. The diet is fruit and vegetable heavy, making up around 75% of total consumption, and the diet does allow meats, dairy, and heavily processed sugars in moderation to allow the diet to be followed long term.
